 Some notes about taking the GCP's Professional Certified Architect I recently got the GCP PCA approval and i wanted to share my views on preparation and the examination itself. I wanted to have this certification for a long time but always found some excuses that prevented me for giving it a try, i must confess that i was not big advocate for certifications but lately i have been slowly changing my mind for good. Is it a hard exam? The answer to this question will obviously depend on the level of experience in GCP, i can attest that i have almost 5 years of GCP experience, i began working with microservices and event driven architectures but soon switched to data and analytics, these worlds are different so, the experience i had with K8s and managed services like Cloud Run soon became kind of rusty in favour of Dataproc, Dataflow, Bigquery, Composer and the plethora of data services that GCP offers, and these are not heavily asked in the exam (i think 6 questions out of 50).
